Description:

FUNCTIONAL & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Sourcing expert – strong experience with sourcing process, supplier management, contract negotiations and procure to pay operations
  • Experience with ERP systems, spend analytics, eSourcing, and contract management systems required
  • Excellent category-specific sourcing and category management skills in key portfolios of spend in Indirect (e.g., Services, IT, Facilities)
  • Expert understanding of multi-step strategic sourcing processes and strategies
  • Experience negotiating agreements/contracts with suppliers
    Understanding of procurement processes, tools, and best practices

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • 8+ years of procurement experience within Indirect categories (e.g., Services, IT, Facilities)
  • Proven working experience as purchasing manager, agent or officer
  • Degree in supply chain management, operations or business administration (nice to have)
  • High level of English language competency (verbal and written)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic and tactical sourcing activities with spend above $500K across multiple categories and high degree of complexity.
  • Manage contract lifecycle process (including uploading contracts, developing standard templates and monitoring / tracking expiry)
  • Manage catalog governance and procurement operations
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms for assigned spend categories
  • Research potential vendors, develop and execute RFP for spend above $500K.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation is translated to RFP and contracts as appropriate
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking to inform sourcing decisions
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing delivering and record annual P&L savings
  • Support projects assigned for various sourcing activities
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
    Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sourcing generalists on category-specific requirements
