EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Science (chemistry, biology, or related field) with 5+ years of experience is required or MS/Ph.D degree in Science (chemistry, biology or related subject area) with proven experience.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on liquid chromatography or mass spectrometry experience.
• Expertise in small and/or large molecules method and applications development.
• Experience in Proteomics preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sample preparation for complex matrices.
• Familiarity with clinical research and toxicology analytical industries.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills required
• Skill to pick up new technologies quickly and troubleshoot independently
• Ability to develop credibility and network with proven and positive professional relationships
• Ability to work within a highly matrixed organization with cross functional teams is essential
• Up to 25% of domestic and international travel
