Sr. Product Development Technician
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions that require considerable judgment and initiative. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of components. Completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways. Understands the implications of work and recommends solutions to issues. Supports engineering activities.

About the job:

• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. (60%)
• Assist engineers with the design, construction, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of components. (20%)
• Completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways, with little direct supervision. Understands the implications of work and recommends solutions to issues. (20%)
• Other duties as assigned.

About you:

• Associate degree, two year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred
• Seven to ten years of experience
• Knowledge in MS Office
• Analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with CAD
• High attention to detail
