Description:

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

5-10 years of total experience; at least 2 years of experience specifically in product ownership or technical product management roles
Natural curiosity about our sustainability products, client workflows, and how we can serve them
Individuals who are self-motivated, take initiative, and welcome the challenge of problem solving
Evidence of thriving in a challenging, fast-paced, client-facing environment
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and work well within multiple organizational and functional departments
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task projects of short, medium, and long-term time ranges
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Azure DepOps
Familiarity with agile product development lifecycle would be an advantage
Bachelor’s Degree required

The Role: Senior Product Manager
The Team: We seek a senior product manager to join the Climate Solutions team under the Gas, Power & Climate Solutions vertical in S&P Global Commodity Insights. Climate Solutions provides data, analytics, and insights to understand, assess, strategize, and make strategic investments in a rapidly changing environment for customers across different stages of their energy transition journey.
Our product team collaborates with multiple teams, including experts, sales, marketing, technical development, among others.
The Impact: As a Climate Solutions senior product manager, you will be responsible for working with the research and technology teams to deliver on our product roadmap and strategy related to solutions in the energy transition space.
What’s in it for you: You will be part of a highly visible team with a direct impact on the execution of our product roadmap and vision, delivering products in the energy transition space that help customers across sectors make critical strategy and investment decisions to meet lower emission goals.
Responsibilities: You will align and understand the value our products provide and how they are delivered to customers. The role requires working with cross-functional teams that include research, technical developers, platform, marketing, commercial, and operations.
Coordinate with content and technical teams to plan and deliver the product roadmap and communicate with marketing and sales.
Work with technical development team and platform stakeholders to coordinate Agile projects that are required to deliver product feature changes, additions, and enhancements.
Maintain product documentation – release notes, training materials, etc.
Support commercial teams with releases communication, training, usage stats, etc.
Understand the client base, level of engagement, and voice of customer to assess improvements and new areas for product development.
Track and communicate the sales product performance to content stakeholders.
