Description:
EXPERIENCE
- Previous lab experience using flow cytometry or previous sales experience selling flow cytometry equipment and/or reagents
- Strong technical background with a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a research laboratory setting
- Background and familiarity with Flow Cytometry
- Experience in working efficiently in a matrix environment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Success in working and driving business growth across business functions
- Ability to travel overnight travel up to 50% of the time
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Able to lift 35 lbs. independently
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of CRM systems like SFDC
- Outstanding understanding of the sales funnel and how to move sales forward in a changing environment
- Can-do demeanor and highly motivated to win sales and take share from competitors

- Demonstrate selling success in the area of flow cytometry analyzers and cell sorters
- Display an acute awareness of the life science marketplace, particularly with cell analysis, its trends and our competitors
- Prior experience working in a laboratory
