Description:

Neetah Construction LP is a Multi-Service Heavy Civil and Roadbuilding Construction and Maintenance Company. Newly formed in 2021, Neetah Construction is backed by its founding Partners, the Des Nedhe Group of Companies, with its Flagship Company, Tron Construction, and the Magnorum Management Group with support from long-time Roadbuilding and Infrastructure companies Morsky Industrial Services, and Western Infrastructure Ltd.
We are seeking One (1) Sr Project Manager, Highways to support project opportunities with Neetah Construction. This position will be site based (within Saskatchewan), however, the office headquarters is located in Regina, SK. You will be joining a team of recognized industry experts to help execute work that is critical to our clients and our communities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership and highway maintenance/repair experience. Paving experience is a definite asset.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong senior leadership, project management, business acumen and financial skills
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent coaching, training, and mentorship skills.
  • Sound knowledge, understanding of and experience working with contracts and specifications.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods and equipment involved in the construction/repair of highways. Knowledge of traffic accommodation and management plans.
  • Knowledge of various pavement repair designs and specifications and when to effectively apply various pavement repair design mixes.
  • Commitment to relevant policies, procedures, and strategies to promote employee safety and optimum performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and work closely with the senior management team on highway projects including strategic planning, scheduling, cost estimating, proposal preparation and submission.
  • Build strong working relationships with Highways representatives and stakeholders to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Maintain and demonstrate strong technical and professional knowledge on highways maintenance and repair, i.e. joint and crack sealing, surface repair, seal coating, equipment and asphalt/patching materials, traffic accommodation plans, etc.
  • Provide contract management and administration of highway projects ensuring client specifications, deliverables, schedules, and budgets are met.
  • Create and monitor project schedules, materials and equipment resources and costs. Hire and coach qualified work crews, ensuring company procedures and safety policies are adhered to.
  • Provide leadership and facilitation, negotiation and problem-solving support as required to resolve issues, build consensus, and align activities to accomplish project goals.
  • Monitor and inspect equipment and materials to ensure client specifications are met.
  • Conduct quality assurance to ensure compliance with project specifications. Monitor/assess performance of yourself, crew leaders/foreman, crews, and other company workers to make improvements or take corrective action.
  • Manage the project close out process to ensure accurate reports, project costs and documentation is in order
