Sr. PS Program Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager who will collaborate with various global stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to identify future business needs that can be addressed by enablement, or enhancements to the PM methodology. The successful candidate would then need to define and execute a strategy to meet those needs, with the target of reducing the time between hire, learning and application of new knowledge.
The candidate will be extremely organised with an ability to contribute new ideas and solutions to business demands and challenges. Working in a highly energetic, dynamic environment, an ability to manage and run multiple projects/ initiatives simultaneously is essential, completing a range of tasks from logistical coordination to strategic program design and implementation.

MAJOR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Define, deliver, and continually improve the enablement strategy (programs and initiatives) for Professional Services by working with senior leadership across the business.
• Work with PS managers and leadership to understand areas of improvement that can be addressed by enablement and personal development programs, providing new skills and knowledge to enhance an individual’s ability to perform their job.
• Work with other enablement teams across OpenText to bring established, proven programs to the benefit of the PS organisation, while creating greater alignment.
• Manage and identify enhancements to the OpenText Professional Services Project Management (PSPM) methodology, including the associated processes and tools.
• Develop and implement changes to PSPM processes and tools, communicating and enabling the field
• Foster effective use and adoption of PSPM, working closely with Project Management leadership and the PM Excellence council
• Collaborate with Global PS Operations to refine PSPM processes
• Resolve any specific challenges by adapting programs as necessary, effectively communicating with team members, SME’s and management.
• Monitor and evaluate the program effectiveness, though periodical reporting against KPI’s, business impacts and the benefits realised
• Maintain a good understanding of industry Enablement and Project Management trends, developments, and best practices
• Perform any other Program Management responsibilities and tasks as required by the PS business
