Description:
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 8 years of experience in working on financial policy issues within government, think tanks, public interest groups, or relevant industry associations. Working experience as government official / SROs / associations / media in the financial sector is a plus.
- Have moderate to advanced understanding about the financial sector and its ecosystem. Financial professional license such as WAPERD or WPPE is a plus.
- Experience in managing advocacy projects and able to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to speak and write in English and Bahasa fluently.
- Excellent communicator and presentation skills in translating complex issues into simple language suitable for a range of audiences.
- Strategic thinking skills combined with creativity and inquisitive mindset in light of solving complex problems.

Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Sr Public Policy and Stakeholder Engagement Manager (Sr PPGR Manager) is a part of the External Affairs Department with the main function of building and cultivating constructive relationships with key stakeholders and conducting in-depth analysis of proposed policies and regulations to assess their potential impact on the company’s operations and products. The role will play a crucial role in shaping and advocating for policies that align with Pluang’s business objectives. To develop strategies to ensure effective communication, address concerns, and align stakeholder interests with the company’s goals, enhancing Pluang’s reputation and promoting transparency for long-term success. Here are the key responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Regulatory Assessment: Assessment of potential regulatory issues impacting and able to translate complex regulations into actionable insights for the organization.
- Execute comprehensive public policy advocacy program: Advocate for favorable policies and regulations that align with the company’s business goals and promote industry growth.
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with associations, academia, and government entities, aligning their interests with company objectives, fostering trust, and ensuring open communication. Engage with industry peers, trade associations, and other stakeholders to stay informed about industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. Represent the company’s interests at industry events, forums, and relevant government meetings.
- Project Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and assess ongoing projects, analyzing their impact on stakeholders, identifying challenges and opportunities, and providing recommendations for project improvement.
- Compliance and Policy Engagement: Represent the company in relevant industry associations and engage with government agencies to ensure compliance and contribute to policy development that aligns with the company’s interests.
- Effectiveness Assessment: Evaluate the effectiveness of stakeholder engagement efforts within projects, making necessary adjustments to enhance stakeholder satisfaction and project outcomes, thereby contributing to the company’s success and reputation
