Responsibilities:

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

We’re seeking an experienced senior principal , in the Human Resources Practice’s Key Initiative (KI) on HR Technology Strategy and Management, to manage the research quality and generate actionable business ideas on topics such as HR technology strategy, HR technology functional management and end user adoption. Gartner’s research is often cited in major news outlets including Forbes, Harvard Business Review, The Washington Post, and The Economist, allowing our firm to extend our impact even further.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

You will work closely with HR leaders and your team to identify, produce, and manage research that solves complex business challenges on a global scale. As a lead on the research team, you will:

  • Serve as team leader for a HR technology research workstream, creating—in partnership with Executive Advisors and analysts—and maintaining a research portfolio on HR Technology Strategy and Management.
  • Review, edit, and manage the quality of the research content in the KI to ensure it addresses the needs of key HR clients, including CHROs and HR technology leaders.
  • Collaborate on a research team through Gartner’s proprietary research process including hypothesis generation, primary and secondary research, and root cause analysis to identify best-in-class solutions.
  • Author articles, webinar decks, or tools that address key challenges for HR leaders on the topic of HR Technology Strategy and Management.
  • Drive key findings from complex datasets and use findings to develop analytically sound, logically ordered research pieces.
  • Conduct interviews with senior executives, academics and industry experts in search of innovative ideas.
  • Upskill and coach junior research team members on the terrain, their research, and edit their work.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve the climate and culture of the team, the business unit, and the organization.
