SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE/AUTOMATION ENGINEER
The Role
As a Senior Quality Assurance/Automation Engineer on the Trading Engineering team, you’ll get the opportunity to develop your skills and collaborate with engineers across Fidelity in a fun and dynamic environment. In this role, you will be working with a team of technologists passionate about promoting testing practices, implementing test automation, and executing test suites.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required.
- 5+ years of Software Quality Engineering experience.
- Hands on experience in developing and maintaining automation test suites using common industry platforms like Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Playwright.
- Good understanding of Java,Angular and/or Single Page Application, JavaScript and Typescript.
- Experience in automating front-end and back-end applications.
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Git and Artifactory.
- Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time.
- Experience with Agile, DevOps Methodologies & Continuous Delivery
- Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks.
- Participate in engineering practices such as code and design reviews, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipelines
- Works well in both a small agile team and independently and has a strong user focus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Xray.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as Docker.
