Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The role involves various accounting tasks, including processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The successful candidate will also be expected to monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records
  • Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner
  • Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and identify any irregularities
  • Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
  • Apply cash accrual and full GAAP accounting principles to prepare, analyze, maintain and deliver complete and accurate financial reports
  • Complete and oversee advanced level accounting transactions in preparation of client financial statement packages
  • Create and post journal entries, ensuring that all expenses, receipts, owner’s distributions, funding requests and other transactions for the accounting period have been accurately posted
  • Generate and review financial packages for accuracy and comprehensive reporting
  • Respond to and resolve issues and requests from management teams and clients regarding various accounting issues and reports.
  • Proficiency in handling documentation and reporting tasks.
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures and policies.
  • Experience in payment processing and cash activity management.
  • Ability to conduct research and review financial data.
  • Experience in conducting audits and managing paperwork.
  • Proficiency in performing ad hoc financial tasks.
  • Ability to prepare financial statements and forecasting reports.
  • Experience in expense reporting and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial notes and receipt management.
  • Basic understanding of selling and real estate principles.
  • Experience in fund administration and authorizations.
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in R Code is an advantage.
  • Ability to work onsite.
