Job Description:
The Senior Recruitment Specialists supports the development and implementation of effective recruitment sourcing strategies for the Company. The Sr. Recruitment Specialist will identify gaps in the current sourcing and screening process and assist in the continuous improvement of those processes. They will focus on sourcing both passive and active candidates through networking, developing talent-sourcing channels and building new talent pipelines. Develops talent acquisition solutions and makes recommendations based on understanding stakeholder needs. Responsible for the assigned Recruitment Business Unit when the Recruitment Lead is away from the office.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform full cycle recruitment, including completing resume screening, conducting interviews, and providing candidate offers.
  • Reporting including daily, weekly, quarterly, and yearly metrics.
  • Work with Recruitment Leads on strategies to find suitable candidates based on the workforce plan and budget.
  • Work and form relationships with internal management teams to better understand their departments, hiring needs and job specifications.
  • Demonstrate superior knowledge of Baseline guidance and act as a technical expert for all sites.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
  • Communicate effectively with operational teams on all recruitment-related items.
  • Designated alternate for Recruitment Manager as needed.
  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates.
  • Ensures the integrity and accuracy of the applicant tracking system (ATS) by maintaining the system and regularly updating candidate details as required.
  • Source, build, and maintain excellent relationships with active and passive talent to build a talent pipeline.
  • Assist in setting up master trackers and project plans for key deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Strategist to maximize job postings and enhance traction for tough-to-fill roles.
  • Provides labour strategies and recommendations for regions identified as tough to fill.
  • Assists with training and developing new hires and supporting training manuals.
  • Assist with implementing, communicating, and ongoing support of talent strategy and developing the recruitment end-to-end process.
  • Create well-written job postings and advertisements that communicate the requirements and expectations of the open position(s).
  • Manage communications between applicants, operations, and others to keep all parties apprised of the status of each search.
  • Identify, recommend, and attend appropriate job fairs that would lead to qualified candidates and enhanced branding.
  • Recommend system improvements for our recruitment processes to ensure streamlined, cost-effective, high-quality services are provided to applicants and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in all recruitment and onboarding activities as required.
  • Headhunting and sourcing external candidates through various platforms and methods (i.e. LinkedIn, Indeed, Job Fairs, AI tools, etc.)
  • Administrating profile surveys to candidates and guiding hiring managers with review of results.
  • Identify gaps or areas of improvement in the recruitment process and bring these findings to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
