Description:

UMB Bank NA seeks an Application Developer III/RPA Developer for Kansas City, MO, with option to telecommute, work from anywhere in US.
Our Business Automation team provides support of multiple automated solutions. This particular role focuses on our Digital Account Opening (DAO) applications which are critical to the bank for attracting and enrolling new customers into our various banking products. This team is a collection of well-rounded developers supporting and maintaining the DAO environment to enhance the applications and ensure high performance while avoiding any business disruptions.
As a Senior RPA Developer, you will be involved in defining the architecture of the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions and overseeing it end-to-end. You will also have the opportunity to be part of the development and implementation of automation solutions. Successful automation will allow proficiency in various redundant tasks freeing our associates within UMB to focus on more critical responsibilities.
How you’ll spend your time:
The Application Developer III/RPA Architect will be responsible for defining the architecture of the RPA solutions and overseeing it end-to-end, assisting both in development and in the implementation of automation solutions. Must be an expert in all phases of RPA solution development life cycle, plus hands on design, development, test and support of RPA solutions. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assess automation opportunity from a technical perspective and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution. Design, develop, and test solutions to automate processes, activities, and tasks. Provide technical direction on design considerations, including performance, security, scalability, availability, maintainability, and auditability. Coordinate and participate in structured code/process peer reviews and walkthroughs to ensure consistency and continuity across the RPA enterprise. Define and communicate enterprise bot development and deployment standards that will be a part of a rapid and repeatable delivery channel. Manage/approve automation solutions (bots) and their migration into the production environment. Scheduling bots thru Orchestrator.
We’re excited to talk if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.

Five years’ progressive experience in the job offered or related which must include experience in the following:

  • RPA, using UiPath
  • Installed and maintenance of RPA using UiPath

Position also requires the following:

  • Excellent demonstrated written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation on a weekly basis to convey issues, resolutions, and product direction to our Continuous Improvement LOB partner.
  • Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to present weekly technical details to our Continuous Improvement LOB partner.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of distributed client server environments, relational database technology, and the development or configuration of interface software to effectively modify existing RPA processes and effectively build new RPA processes.
