HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our team of technical sales specialists. They will play a significant role in driving sales performance, developing and implementing strategies, and providing guidance and support to the team. The ideal candidate will possess a consistent track record of leading and motivating sales teams to achieve targets, market knowledge of clinical laboratory testing needs, and a strong technical background. Experience in solution selling, navigating market segments, and partnering with executives critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, handle, and empower a team to achieve sales targets and objectives
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and strategies
- Navigate across different market segments, including commercial reference labs and academic clinical labs, to increase sales opportunities
- Implement solution selling techniques to promote and sell assays, instruments, services, and software
- Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite level executives, internally and externally, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Adapt management style to individual team members’ needs and strengths and effectively connect with and influence key stakeholders
- Display resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced and challenging sales environment
- Make informed decisions based on market insights, sales data, and customer feedback
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their sales skills and performance
- Cultivate cross-functional collaboration with other rep types and divisions to ensure alignment and maximize revenue growth
