Qualifications:Required skills:
- Bachelors’ degree in scientific, medical, or related discipline and 3-6 years of relevant work experience; Master’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant work experience, or PhD and 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Competent knowledge of medical device functionality and therapeutical areas
- Strong knowledge of applicable regulations
- Strong understanding of full product life cycle
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong ability to understand the audience and how to tailor information appropriatel

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
Veranex has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Scientific Affairs Associate. You will be part of a team working to improve lives globally through medical technology innovation. The Senior Scientific Affairs Associate plays a key role in ensuring continuous patient safety through the development and application of a proactive approach to the identification of potential product deficiencies. Applies technical/scientific expertise to solve scientific questions and provide support to internal and external clients.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Identifies, assesses, and summarizes scientific and medical literature and communicates potential impact of key findings to internal and external stakeholders
- Summarizes and interprets data from test reports
- Evaluates benefit and risk of medical devices in relation to specific scientific questions
- Provides technical guidance and oversight to cross-functional development teams
- Trains and mentors new and less experienced team members under supervision
- May support business development activities by participating in potential client meetings, educating clients, and providing proposal input
