Qualifications:Required skills:

• Bachelors’ degree in scientific, medical, or related discipline and 3-6 years of relevant work experience; Master’s degree and 2-5 years of relevant work experience, or PhD and 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Competent knowledge of medical device functionality and therapeutical areas
• Strong knowledge of applicable regulations
• Strong understanding of full product life cycle
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong ability to understand the audience and how to tailor information appropriatel

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

Veranex has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Scientific Affairs Associate. You will be part of a team working to improve lives globally through medical technology innovation. The Senior Scientific Affairs Associate plays a key role in ensuring continuous patient safety through the development and application of a proactive approach to the identification of potential product deficiencies. Applies technical/scientific expertise to solve scientific questions and provide support to internal and external clients.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Identifies, assesses, and summarizes scientific and medical literature and communicates potential impact of key findings to internal and external stakeholders
• Summarizes and interprets data from test reports
• Evaluates benefit and risk of medical devices in relation to specific scientific questions
• Provides technical guidance and oversight to cross-functional development teams
• Trains and mentors new and less experienced team members under supervision
• May support business development activities by participating in potential client meetings, educating clients, and providing proposal input
