EDUCATION
- Must possess a minimum of an Associate degree in related field. Bachelor’s preferred.
EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years of experience in a GXP laboratory setting preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Attention to detail; technical problem-solving skills; and multi-task
- Trained in basic laboratory safety.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven excellence in customer service skills.
- Detail oriented, problem solver, promotes a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and confident working in systems and databases.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to prioritize tasks to support objectives to completion.
- Ability to establish and develop positive customer relationships.
- Demonstrate expertise in the ability to identify inefficiencies in any process and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ability to instantly adapt to a flexible and changing schedule.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Works primarily at customer locations, in office environment to include cubicles and/or in and around shipping/receiving docks, stock rooms, storage locations and laboratory environments.
- Walking/standing required for 75-85% of the day.
- May pass through areas where chemical-based allergens may be in use (such as penicillin, tetracycline, etc.).
- Ability to lift, push and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; may be required to lift 50 lbs.
- May be able to use material handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks.
- Personal protective equipment (lab coats, coveralls, hood, facemask, hairnets and/or safety gloves) in certain buildings/areas.
- Some areas require steel toe shoes, bump hats and/or safety glasses.
