JOB DESCRIPTION

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Sr Site Specialist. As a world-class leader in scientific research and innovation, we are dedicated to enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
Location: Tarrytown, NY
Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Pay: $26-29/hr, depending on experience

EDUCATION:

HS Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s in science or related field, preferred

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 2 years of proven customer service experience, preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
Proven ability to successfully implement inventory management strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to effectively use inventory management systems

• Maintain inventory and storage units, including receiving deliveries, restocking, and performing physical inventory
• Order inventory and ensure proper mix of products in the Supply Center
• Maintain merchandising standards and branding of the Supply Center
• Proactively seek feedback and improve business relationships internally and externally
• Respond to customer inquiries and maintain customer lists and records
• Provide real-time customer and competitive intelligence
• Support eBusiness initiatives and leverage key account relationships
• Plan and support on-site promotional events related to the Supply Center.
• Communicate ideas for inventory management efficiency to the team
