Description:
Responsibilities:
This is a remote role. As a Senior Software Developer - Fleet you will develop features and automation to keep the SafelyYou services secure and functional in 100s of communities we operate in. Your work will be focused on developing services to scale our field equipment and data throughout our deployments and prevent service disruptions with scalable software and automated solutions.
You will partner closely with our product management team, Director of fleet development, and peers to define, design, and implement mission-critical solutions focused on system scalability and reliability. You may also mentor junior team members and lead your projects through the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the management, observability, and alarming of our embedded edge AI processing cameras and equipment
- Drive improvements to the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of SafelyYou core embedded products with scale and reproducibility in mind: “cattle only, and no pets”.
- Improve reliability, quality, and time-to-market of our suite of software solution
- Provide technical guidance to the team through mentoring, training, and experimentation
- Make design decisions and provide recommendations throughout our entire IoT platform and within the team
- Lead by example by making quality a core aspect of the delivery
- Promote the adoption of agile best practices while being an ambassador of our company values
- Communicate passionately about the team, mission, and technology
