Sr. Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer will advance and modernize our online and backend platforms using .NET technologies. They will contribute to software design and architecture using agile practices and ensure constant system improvements. This role involves complex software development projects, architecting and developing features, and providing mentorship to junior engineers.
Responsibilities include code review, problem-solving, collaboration, understanding architectural paradigms and non-functional aspects of software such as security and reliability. The candidate will also be required to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of hands-on development experience, proficiency in C#, .NET framework and database technologies (SQL Server), and experience with front-end technologies (Blazor, Webforms, JavaScript) and modern DevOps toolchains & build pipelines.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure Cloud Services, Git Repositories and Source Control, knowledge of Agile Scrum and Sprint Methodologies and familiarity with Jira and Confluence. This position involves prolonged desk work in an office setting.
