We are currently seeking a Sr Software QA engineer, Infotainment in our Newark, CA office. The position requires an experienced professional with a background in quality assurance. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his/her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive validation of high quality, high performance and production ready software
  • Ensure quality from low level software to end applications
  • Validate software in simulation and on vehicle
  • Test and release in alignment with vehicle integration, ensuring quality at the vehicle level
  • Design, maintain and execute automated tests, -including functional, system integration, functional, regression and API testing
  • Support and coordinate between QA engineering and the development teams to ensure growing test coverage

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in related Engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of recent experience working as QA Engineer
  • Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality tests
  • Experience working in an agile environments
  • Working knowledge on Android and/or Linux
  • Test/Automation and UI validation tools experience
  • Familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS in related Engineering discipline
