We are currently seeking a Sr. Software Requirements Specialist. This position may be located in Atlanta, GA; Columbus, OH or Remote Eastern US.

JOB SUMMARY

The Health Analytics Division specializes in developing advanced Information Technology and Data Management solutions for our government and commercial clients.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a least 8 years of demonstrated work experience or a master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Previous experience working with HHS or it’s agencies such as CDC, CMS, ARQ, FDA, NIH
  • Ability to obtain and retain a US government security clearance (requires U.S. citizenship).
  • Demonstrated competency in translating user stories and use cases into documented, implementable, and testable software requirements
  • Demonstrated competency in developing effective test plans, test suites and test cases based on requirements
  • Demonstrated competency in the software development life cycle and agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated competency in software quality assurance
  • Demonstrated competency in software quality assurance estimating
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines successfully
  • Demonstrated experience as a team lead, mentoring or training others.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills required, will be presenting to external clients.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with continuous integration
  • Strong educational or work-related experience in mathematics or statistics
  • Experience testing mathematical, statistical, scientific, or health care related applications
  • Experience with COVID Testing Research and Data Collection
  • Experience with Battelle or contract research organization

Responsibilities:

This individual will be expected to demonstrate a high motivation for success, a detail-oriented mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to drive multi-disciplinary teams of stakeholders and implementers with other highly motivated individuals.

The candidate is expected to assume the following primary job responsibilities:

  • Proactively and independently work with stakeholders (internal and external) to construct and document user stories and use cases.
  • Work with software engineers and software QA personnel to translate user stories and use cases into documented, implementable, and testable software requirements.
  • Document and maintain requirement traceability.
  • Manage change by updating user stories, use cases, and requirements as additional input becomes available.
  • Assist software QA personnel in defining, refining, and validating test plans and test cases.
  • Consistently follow software development life cycle practices
  • Communicate on a regular basis with project leaders and team members including mathematicians, statisticians, and computer scientists
  • Continued job performance improvement through on-the-job training and outside study
  • Minimal domestic travel (at a later time)
  • Assists lower level staff in resolving analysis problems
  • Prepares and presents advanced technical reports and presentations to client, both formal and informal.
  • Build relationships with clients and assist in responding to client Requests for Proposals (RFP)s and similar business development tasks.
