Description:

Mission Statement

  • Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. Core Responsibilities

  • Support Sr. Planning Analysts and Section Manager carry our departmental responsibilities, included but not limited to:
  • Processing payments via PCARD for permits and inspections
  • Processing ORACLE business transactions for vendor-performed work which includes, but not limited to processing project accruals and review contractor invoices for accuracy and payment approval.
  • Maintain and manage Real Estate departmental calendar as well as training calendar
  • Maintain accurate documentation for projects within Real Estate Department Sharepoint
  • Support Senior Planning Analysts with procedural compliance including Capital Project Playbook, relevant Corp Instrustions and RE procedures
  • Attend and prepare meeting information and presentations for departmental meetings, presentations to executives
  • Support Sr. Planning Analysts process Property Record Rulings and Appropriation requests
  • Support requests in Unifier
  • Support capital project initiatives such as portfolio optimization and other Real estate initiatives.
  • Assist Senior Analysts with project closeouts

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of relevant work experience in Facilities related work or
  • Associate’s Degree and 4 years of relevant work experience in Facilities or
  • High School Diploma/GED and 5 years relevant work experience in Facilities

Relevant Work Experience

  • Adept at using the Internet for communication and research. Required
  • Must demonstrate a positive work ethic in support of the Company’s Corporate Values and Mission Required
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various levels of management, union personnel, internal and external customers as well as vendors and outside agencies. Required
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and flexible to handle multiple assignments with changing priorities. Required
  • Demonstrated ability to accept challenges and use creative thinking to analyze data and recommend solutions. Required
  • Strong strategic leadership and judgment skills and the ability to demonstrate professional demeanor. Required
  • A commitment to customer service. Required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Required
  • Knowledge of and proficiency with computer systems such as Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, Power Point, TEAMs, and Unifier). Required
  • Experience with the ORACLE business application. Preferred
  • Experience with the PCARD business process Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Driver’s License Required

Physical Demands

  • Ability to respond to system emergencies

Other Physical Demands

  • Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
  • Must work at field locations in all weather conditions.
  • Must travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies
  • Must be willing to travel within service territory
  • Must be able to sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse and computer for entire shift
  • Must be able to walk for extended periods, bends climb and work from elevations (e.g. roofs)
  • Must be able to work off shift hours, as needed.
