Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE…

Under the supervision of the Manager, Marketing Initiatives the Sr. Specialist, Marketing position will be primarily responsible for managing our promotional merchandise storefront. The Sr. Specialist will be the primary contact for Road Scholar staff and providers, assisting them with inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience. In addition to managing our storefront, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the workflow of multiple marketing projects from concept to delivery including print collateral and promotional items.
Road Scholar offers a remote-first work environment. The compensation for this exempt level salaried position is $59,000.

BE RESPONSIBLE FOR STOREFRONT MANAGEMENT:

  • Respond to staff inquiries via email, chat, and/or phone in a timely and courteous manner
  • Identify staff/ provider needs and provide appropriate solutions or alternatives
  • Resolve complaints and issues efficiently, escalating to higher levels of support when necessary
  • Process orders, returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently
  • Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, inquiries, and complaints
  • Provide product or service information to staff and assist them in making informed purchasing decisions
  • Collaborate with other departments or vendors, to resolve complex issues
  • Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and products to provide accurate information to staff and Providers
  • Research promotional products overseas, setup new vendors, create new processes for overseas order placement, delivery

BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PRINT & PROMOTIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT:

  • Create schedules and tracking mechanisms primarily based on existing templates and processes using systems including scheduling software; Welcome, Excel and intranet, create new templates and processes where necessary
  • Facilitate meetings, create and maintain project documentation ensuring specifications, deadlines and deliverables are accurately communicated to internal and external resources, route deliverables for approval
  • Coordinate resources and manage production process from concept to deployment ensuring projects are completed on schedule; maintain on-time accountability
  • Build project budgets and perform reconciliation after job completion ensuring project adheres to budget
  • Manage vendors to insure adherence to estimated pricing, timelines and quality
  • Submit invoices for all of Marketing department to Finance department making sure properly coded and ensure timely payment
  • Monitor multiple inboxes on a daily basis resolving any emails within 24hrs of receipt
  • Initiate and lead problem resolution process internally and with vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • Understand print production and postal regulations
  • Responsible for cross departmental meeting where multiple projects will be discussed and delegated
