ABOUT OUR GROUP:

The Korat Test Process (TP) development team is responsible for supporting new product launches for best-in-class Enterprise and Client classes of HDD with the latest cutting-edge technologies in the likes of Heat Assisted Media Recording (HAMR), Hybrid Shingled Media Recording, etc. The TP team plays an important role in improving all HDD product metrics and keeping cost and quality on target using cutting edge technologies in advanced recording methodology, innovative HDD test processes and Big Data analytics.

YOUR EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:

• The job requires at least a degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline. 10 or more years’ experience in HDD drive product engineering.

• Be part of a team to ensure the successful launch and ramp of new products in the Factory
• Drive HDD yield, test time and quality improvements
• Drive improvements to HDD test process creatively
• Perform bench level tests and data analysis to understand and resolve HDD failures
• Frequently interact with design engineering functions such as Controller Firmware, Test Process Engineering, Servo Firmware, Product teams and product development Core Teams for development work and issue closure
• Be expected to have excellent problem-solving skills and work in a team environment spanning multiple countries
• Assist in technology integration spanning engineering model through volume launch
• Resolve product related test process related and quality issues
