Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Software development technical lead for Stores Point-of-Sale (POS) application on Android operating system. Daily activities include hands-on software development, code review, automated QA testing, requirements gathering and documentation, application design, resolving issues, performance testing, Splunk logging and log analysis, working with multiple stakeholders, providing feedback to other software developers, applying software updates and integration changes. Work in an agile software development environment including but not limited to sprint planning, concept sprints, iteration planning, facilitating daily stand-ups, team retrospectives, sprint open/close, tracking team progress using burn-up charts, and applying test driven development. Work with and implement software for physical hardware, wireless connectivity, device pairing, integration with other software systems and vendor applications, enhancing software capability, complying with regulation including PCI compliance, coordinating software releases and updates. Able to work on specific occasions as needed, to support deployment, production validation or peak activities during off hours such as evening, nights, weekends, holidays. Software development and testing of Stores POS including integration with payment systems, account lookups, card and loyalty enrollments, sales, returns, split payment, multiple payment methods: cash, credit, gift cards and debit, and other functionalities such as order in store. Must be available to work from office 4 days per week. Work from home allowed 1 day per week.
