JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Senior SAP ECP Consultant
Contract Duration: 3 months
Overview: The Senior SAP ECP Consultant will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of parallel pay runs, data validation, discrepancy identification, defect resolution, configuration changes, testing, and support within the SAP ECP environment. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, advanced problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute Parallel Pay Runs: Coordinate and execute parallel pay runs within the SAP ECP system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established processes.
- Data Validation: Perform thorough data validation checks to ensure consistency and accuracy across parallel pay runs and identify any discrepancies.
- Discrepancy Identification: Identify and investigate discrepancies or irregularities in payroll data and processes, working closely with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Defect Resolution: Address and resolve defects or system issues encountered during parallel pay runs or testing phases, collaborating with technical teams as needed.
- Configuration Changes: Implement necessary configuration changes within the SAP ECP system to accommodate evolving business requirements or resolve identified issues.
- Testing and Support: Conduct comprehensive testing of system changes, enhancements, or fixes, and provide ongoing support to end-users during parallel pay run cycles.
- Documentation: Update documentation, including workbooks and process manuals, to reflect any changes or enhancements made to the SAP ECP system and related processes.
- Communication: Maintain clear and proactive communication with stakeholders, including project managers, team members, and end-users, regarding progress, issues, and resolutions related to parallel pay runs and system activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (X years) working with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and related modules.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, including parallel pay runs, data validation, and defect resolution.
- Proficiency in SAP ECP configuration, testing methodologies, and support procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- SAP ECP certification is required
