Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed supply plans consistent with plant consumption forecasts.
  • Negotiate all supply contracts and costs.
  • Collaborate daily with plant operations and TD&L to monitor shipments, optimize plant balances, and adjust volumes/redirect supplies as necessary.
  • Maintain/develop supplier relationships to ensure LT supply continuity.
  • Monitor world and NA sulfur market developments (supply/demand, price movements, oil industry trends, industry player changes, etc.).
  • Provide current calendar year and LT price forecasts and distribute to phosphate/commercial leadership team, finance, and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop and present long-term sulfur supply strategy/review.
  • Attend industry meetings and functions to gather market intelligence and maintain relationships.
  • Deliver market update presentations to sales, operations and other business areas as needed.
  • Assist with day-to-day trouble shooting (payables, credit, legal, transportation, etc.).
  • Perform product management duties for the excess sulfuric acid that we sell to Industrial customers. This includes but is not limited to working with Sales team on forecasts and the plants on logistics and executing against sales orders.
