GENERAL SUMMARY:

Unum is seeking a dynamic Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant to support full-lifecycle recruiting within our organization focusing on information technology and digital transformation roles. This role is pivotal in driving the Unum brand in the Greater Atlanta market, enhancing our presence as an employer of choice.
You will collaborate with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders across the enterprise. Your responsibilities include determining job requirements, screening candidates, and forecasting hiring needs. As a Talent Advisor and Brand Ambassador, you will promote Unum through various outreach initiatives and events, ensuring we attract top talent in a competitive market.This role is hybrid based out of Atlanta, GA and Chattanooga, TN. If based in Chattanooga, TN will require travel to Atlanta, GA twice a month.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Source and Attract Talent: Identify and engage highly specialized diverse professional and leadership level candidates to support Unum’s digital transformation.
  • Screen and Interview: Conduct structured interviews and assessments to ensure we select top-quality candidates.
  • Consult with Managers: Serve as a talent advisor to hiring managers, providing strategic insights and tailored hiring approaches to deliver best in class solutions to source top talent..
  • Network and Promote: Actively network online and offline to boost Unum’s brand in the Atlanta market.
  • Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends to ensure candidates meet current standards.
  • I&D Initiatives: Deliver Inclusion and Diversity projects that contribute to achieving Unum’s diversity goals.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate across HR to support and lead in the delivery of inclusive recruitment and selection strategies and Global HR priorities.
  • Governance: Ensure compliance with Unum’s Code of Conduct and other company policies and procedures as appropriate.
  • Participate in Events: Represent Unum at tech conferences, meetups and other networking events to build our professional network in the Greater Atlanta market.
  • Early Career Recruiting: Will act as the primary liaison with Greater Atlanta colleges and universities to recruit entry level talent.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, communications, marketing, business, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of IT recruitment experience preferred.
  • Expert level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, assessing, salary trends, relationship management, and due diligence.
  • Excellent communication skills to include negotiation, decision making and persuasion skills.
  • Strong networking abilities and tenacity.
  • Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in setting own direction within broad parameters.
  • Experience in sales, business development, or client development roles.
  • Proficiency with various interview formats (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
  • Technical acumen to understand and explain IT job requirements.
  • Strong technical aptitude: extensive use of internet as a vehicle for sourcing, job postings and researching; Ability to effectively utilize any recruiting systems for tracking and managing applicants; Proficiency with Office 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.
$69,850.00-$125,730.00
Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
