The Sr. Team Leader of Billing and Support oversees the billing and support teams to ensure Early Learning Scholarship is meeting compliance and service delivery consistent with agency values and mission and strategic plan.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, accounting or finance, human services or related experience preferred.
- Extensive experience in overseeing programs that provide resources or access to underserved communities such as in grants, scholarship, or related.
- Experience and knowledge in building and maintaining partnerships and in supervising and supporting diverse staff.
- Experience and knowledge of data systems.
- Good communication, organizations, and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure best practice standards are implemented and maintained.
- Ensure quality and quantity and oversee day to day workflow.
- Train new staff in department practices and procedures.
- First line problem solving.
- Coordinate with other department team leaders for consistency across department.
- Coordinate with department manager to meet all contractual and agency reporting timelines.
- Coordinate with department manager on various ELSA projects.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and/or data checks.
- Communicate with and respond to inquiries from families, early learning programs and the general public.
- Assist Early Learning Scholarship billing and support in problem solving or facilitate getting resolution.
- Review, approve, and process billings to ensure timely payment of invoices to early learning programs.
- Create Professional Development plans for direct reports. Meet with direct reports on a regular basis to assess progress.
- Participate in communication and problem solving between Think Small and external partners.
- Gather relevant and required data and prepare reports as required.
