Description:

Position Summary:
The growing Vista IT team is looking for Sr. Analyst focused on Workday and related HR business technology. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive the future applications landscape for Vista Equity Partners.
The Sr. Workday Analyst will work with the HR and Business Technology teams to manage change requests for operational improvements and/or strategic initiatives on our HR platforms. The role will be responsible for interacting directly with internal users on the daily administration and support on our business systems. The role partners with stakeholders to assist in the implementation and configuration of solutions to ensure that our HR applications are aligned with our business needs.
This role can be based in Austin, TX (preferred) or remote and is for an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and administration for Workday and other integrated HR business applications.
  • Partner with HR technology and operations to align system requirements and enhancements to the platform roadmap.
  • Maintain integrations across the landscape of Workday and related business applications, collaborating with internal resources (IT Service Desk, IT Systems Engineering, and IT Enterprise Architecture) and third-party vendors.
  • Contribute to continuous efforts to improve internal system processes by helping identify and implement new enhancements and system integrations.
  • Collaborate with HR Technology team to manage the full application lifecycle to include scope definition, configuration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Partner with HR Technology team to manage the Workday bi-annual releases and internal agile release cycles (inclusive of backlog grooming and end-to-end testing (QA, Regression, UAT)) with stakeholders.
  • Handle numerous projects/priorities using proven project management methodologies and sound development practices to ensure quality delivery of solutions.
  • Stay current on the platforms’ development and enhancements to understand existing and future functionality. Look for opportunities of innovation to take advantage of the latest and greatest product features and tools.
  • Understand Human Resources processes and objectives as they translate to platform best practices.
  • Respond to user application issues and enhancements in accordance to defined SLAs.
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and administering Workday.
  • 3+ years of experience with relevant HR business systems and related BI/Analytics solutions: HCM, HRIS, Application Tracking/Recruiting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Workday platform, eco-system and best practices.
  • Understanding of complex business processes and applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, with good time management skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to set proper time and resource expectations with stakeholders.
  • Works effectively and diligently with or without deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience in Financial Services strongly preferred.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $120,000-150,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
