Description:

About the role
About the opportunity….
We are experiencing rapid growth in our accounting and advisory business, particularly in the NDIS space, so you will have a pivotal role within the team as we advance to new heights. This is accounting work with a real purpose as what we do helps our clients ensure that their business grows and is sustainable into the future.
You’ll be working closely with a Senior Accountant and with our NDIS clients to support all their accounting activities including payroll, invoicing, BAS completion, tax returns, balance sheet reconciliations, book-keeping activities, government funds registers and preparation of annual Statutory Accounts. You’ll also work closely with our clients to provide them advice and guidance as required.
There’s also the opportunity for the right person to grow and progress into a Senior Accountant role in the future.
About You…
You’re an experienced accountant who loves what you do and who enjoys the thrill of helping others. You have fantastic accounting skills, and you possess personal qualities and attributes that thrive in a team environment. You have a desire to build and maintain client relationships and have a keen eye for detail and accuracy. You’re looking to work in a highly supportive, collaborative team environment where you can not only utilise your broad skillset, but you can also grow and learn…and have some fun along the way!

Your skills include:

  • Tertiary qualifications, ideally at degree-level (Accounting, Commerce or Business)
  • Proven problem-solving approach with a focus on business improvement
  • Outstanding client engagement skills
  • An inclusive, collaborative approach
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Xero accounting software
  • A positive, flexible and “hands on” approach

If you’re well-versed in NDIS bookkeeping and invoicing, experienced with PRODA/PACE, and adept at utilising NDIS business software like Shift Care and Care Master etc, we want to hear from you!
What’s in it for you?
We understand that our success in business is innately connected to the success and satisfaction of every member of our team, so we’re absolutely committed to sustaining an innovative, playful, and constructive culture in which individuals can achieve their best.
Apart from being an integral part of our passionate and supportive team, you’ll have ongoing access to personal and professional development opportunities (potentially including direct assistance with course fees etc..), the chance to work with a variety of clients on a day-to-day basis, and the satisfaction of knowing that you’re making a real difference to their business.
And of course, you’ll receive competitive remuneration in line with your skills and experience.
There’s also opportunity for us to explore flexible work options (4 days per week) with the right candidate.
