PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years of experience as a Tax Accountant/Accountant
  • Knowledge of income tax accounting concepts
  • Commitment to client service excellence and teamwork
  • Experience in US taxes preferred
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review personal, corporate, and trust tax returns, identifying tax savings
  • Conduct year-end meetings and interact with clients for planning and execution
  • Assist with tax planning and estate taxes
  • Manage client accounts and foster growth opportunities
  • Provide holistic financial planning including life insurance and investment needs
  • Delegate tasks to junior team members and provide guidance and mentoring
  • Recommend tax strategies aligned with firm goals
  • Maintain technical knowledge and follow industry trends
  • Support professional development of team members through coaching and training
