SKILLS:

  • Ability to balance a balance sheet every month
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Enterprise, QuickBooks Pro, and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Balance Sheets, Ledger Balance Sheet Account
  • Understanding of payroll process for auditing purposes.
  • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
  • Profound understanding of General Ledger maintenance
  • Demonstrated ability to handle Journal Entries
  • Experience with Month End Close procedures
  • Familiarity with Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Balance Sheets
  • Competency in Ledger Balance Sheet Account management
  • Proficiency in using QuickBooks, Quickbooks Online, QuickBooks Enterprise, and QuickBooks Pro
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage client accounts, including bookkeeping, payroll, and income tax preparations
  • Prepare financial reviews and documentation for external audit firms
  • Balance monthly balance sheets and manage quarterly and yearly financials
  • Prepare clients for audits by gathering necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with audit processes
  • Understand and monitor payroll processes for audit purposes, even though direct payroll experience is not necessary
  • Work with CPA for additional support and verification when necessary
  • Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, Balance Sheet Reconciliation
  • Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks
  • Be responsible for smaller accounts and a larger client in the construction disaster response industry.
