STAFF ACCOUNTANT OPPORTUNITY
We are collaborating with a dynamic, expanding firm seeking candidates who can offer support in a variety of finance areas. Key responsibilities include assisting with tax planning, preparing financial statements, supporting small business accounting functions, and investigating complex tax queries.

Responsibilities:
- Handling accounts payable
- Logging cash receipts and tracking accounts receivables
- Preparing essential journal entries
- Conducting monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Processing payrolls and completing payroll returns quarterly/annually
- Filing sales tax returns
- Preparing and evaluating monthly financial reports
- Assisting in preparing individual and business tax returns • Executing other assignments as requested by clients or team members
Is this job for you?
- You hold an Associate Degree in Accounting (minimum)
- You possess at least one year of relevant work experience, with public accounting experience preferred
- You are adept with accounting software systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Thomson Reuters products), along with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- You are comfortable with new learning opportunities and can contribute to the team’s ongoing growth
- You demonstrate excellent communication skills and can efficiently liaise with clients and internal staff
- You showcase robust technical, analytical, and organizational skills
- You can meet deadlines and manage pressure professionally and positively
