The Analog Design Engineer, with experience in Power Management circuit design, candidate will perform detailed circuit design for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits that includes simulation, layout, and verification. Specifically, these circuits include op-amps, voltage/current references, linear and switching regulators, charge pumps and power control circuits. Understands and reinforces design review, best practice, and other product line design processes. Performs research and develops new design techniques for future technologies. Experience in working with test equipment and using programming tools like Python, LabView is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSEE or equivalent. MSEE preferred.
  • At least eight (8) years of relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of low noise, low power, feedback and compensation design techniques.
  • Experience in using Cadence Analog Artist, Virtuoso, AMS and parasitic extraction.
  • Proficiency in the use of test equipment such as an Oscilloscope, digital multi-meter, waveform generator and LabView.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-starter and team player.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with system engineers to architect/define/specify solutions.
  • Responsible for design and simulation per defined product functionalities and specifications.
  • Characterize, verify and debug the design through lab measurements.
  • Understands and reinforces design review, best practice, and other product line design processes.
  • Delivers design release notes, documentation for product characterization.
