JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience with estimating or appraisal in a collision repair shop or insurance claims environment
- Working knowledge of electronic estimating software and relevant industry technical qualifications such as I-Car courses
- Post-secondary education
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Excellent organizational skills
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to work remotely, independently, and unsupervised
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field appraisals within a defined territory while maintaining quality and performance standards
- Schedule field appraisals and ensure prompt delivery of appraisal reports to Claims unit
- Efficient record keeping for all logs and reporting
- Establish and maintain all inspections including random on the spot inspections
- Support Auto PD Adjusters
- Participate in industry events, training of other PD staff, and special projects
