Description:

Unplanned Care – Staff Bank Senior Nurse (Band-6)
Are you a passionate, and caring nurse with a least two years’ experience in community looking to progress and develop your clinical and leadership skills in a dynamic community nursing team?
If so, then we would like to meet you.
We have vacancies for bank senior staff nurses within the Unplanned Care Team, which has an innovative approach to nursing care. It involves quick responses to patients in their home to assess, plan, manage and evaluate the presenting issue, prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, and help to facilitate early hospital discharges. You will actively undertake clinical visits, supporting patients in their own home; support the clinical band-7 with daily leadership; support junior members of staff and liaise with the wider multi-disciplinary team.
Closing Date - 30th June 2024
Shortlisting - 1st July 2024
Interview - 18th July 2024
We are looking for a highly motivated applicant who is interested in meeting the challenge of working in the community with patients in their home setting. As part of the Unplanned care team, you will be working with a variety of disciplines within the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for patients. You’ll be working on a rotational basis as part of a seven-day service covering 24-hours-a-day with the support of agile technology to help you deliver timely, high-quality care.
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and be confident and competent in the management of palliative care, wound care and catheterization and catheter care, demonstrate leadership qualities, be able to support junior members of staff, implement high standards of patient care, and ensure a positive patient experience.
Unplanned services are committed to supporting your continued professional development and we will support you in your ongoing career aspirations.
If this is you, we’d love to hear from you.
We are a provider of award winning, high quality mental health, community and learning disability services that look after the ‘whole person’, caring for their physical and mental health needs.
