EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering

EXPERIENCE

  • Validated experience as a Electrical Engineer with at least 8 years’ design and manufacturing.
  • Proven experience leading the development of complex electro-mechanical controls and system design
  • Circuit design and analysis, especially FPGAs, microcontrollers and analog designs
  • Design PCB from feasibility through to manufacturing with minimal support infrastructure.
  • Proficient in EDA software tool(s), layout is a plus
  • Understanding and experience with low level analog signal processing (pA, uV)
  • Feedback and high precision control systems
  • Photodiodes and 2d imaging systems
  • High Speed/RF analog circuits is a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Strong organizational, communication and team skills, and experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Practice good process design being capable of understanding system requirements and developing and documenting designs from concept/prototyping to manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, integrate, test, debug, and release prototype documentation for electronic controls (including sensors, signal detection, low light cameras, Lasers, Light & Electron optics and motion control)
  • Conduct system-level configuration of electronics architectures
  • Debug and solve existing electronic designs including hands-on debug activities such as noise suppression and grounding schemes
  • Ensure compliance, including electromagnetic compatibility and immunity, for electrical subsystems
  • Design and implement electronic architectures, power, and grounding systems
  • Conduct system level integration for highly integrated semiconductor capital equipment tools
  • Responsible for documentations and other NPI activities. Support module and product transitions to production and aid in resolving manufacturing issues.
