Staff Nurse, Band 5- Ward 2B

As a band 5 Staff Nurse you would be responsible for caring for your own caseload of patients. This would involve assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care needs and assessments. You would be caring for surgical patients following head and neck surgery but can also be caring for other surgical speciality patients on the ward. You would also be working with nursing assistants and student nurses and need to delegate tasks effectively and safely.
You would work closely and liaise with the multi-disciplinary team regularly to ensure patient care needs are met. You would practice in line with Trust Polices and Procedures and comply with data protection and confidentiality legislation. To would need to actively participate in both mandatory training and education development opportunities relevant to your role
