Staff Nurse - ITU & HDU

Opportunities are available within Critical Care for registered nurses to join the department on a permanent basis (full-time and part-time hours available).
You will work under the direction of the Senior Sister to plan, provide and maintain effective nursing care to patients and their relatives.
In addition, you will be supported in the continuous development and enhancement of your knowledge and skills, which will directly influence consistent standards of care in clinical practice.
To deliver effective nursing care to patients admitted to critical care
To be actively involved in developing themselves professionally and participate in their staff development appraisal.
To comply with Trust Uniform and ID Policies
To safeguard at all times, confidentiality of information relating to patients and staff
Communicate effectively with patients, visitors and multi-professional team to ensure information is shared in a timely and appropriate manner.
Provide and maintain effective clinical assessment to ensure that patient care is planned and evaluated.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford, and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping.
We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping.
