Description:
Band 5 Staff Nurse - Kempton Day Bed Unit (Children’s Ambulatory Care)
We are looking for highly motivated, experienced staff nurses to join the team. The role will be based on Kempton Day Bed Unit which is a busy 10 bedded ward offering day care for medical and surgical procedures for children aged 0-18 years.
We see children from a range of surgical specialities such as ENT, ophthalmology, maxillo facial and general surgery. We also care for children requiring food challenges, botox injections, and a variety of infusions and transfusions.
We are looking for experienced registered children’s nurses who are enthusiastic, professional, caring and compassionate and have proven clinical competence.
Recent experience of working in children’s surgery is essential; venepuncture and cannulation skills are desirable.
