Description:

Our Emergency Department is seeking Band 5 Staff Nurses to join the A&E team.
Would you like the opportunity to join our Northumbria Family and work in our fast paced Emergency Department where two days are never the same? Learn new skills or develop the skills you already have to provide high quality care to patients from triage to resuscitation?
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic nurses who have a passion for patient assessment and Emergency Care provision.
We have an excellent staff training programme and look forward to new staff embracing the development and skills our Emergency Department has to offer. We work a pattern of days, nights and weekends to provide excellent care to our Emergency patients. We have a wide range of skills and experience within our team which make it the perfect environment to develop your skills through hands on experience and challenges!
Providing Emergency Care to the patients of North Tyneside, Northumberland and Beyond.
Duties include initiating safe and high quality care, continuing assessments of acutely unwell patients and resuscitation of patients.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. We give people greater choice and control over their care to help them to live independently at home and avoid hospital admission where appropriate. High quality patient care is at the heart of everything we do and we strive to ensure every single patient and service user has an exceptional experience with us. We have one of the most extensive patient experience programmes of any trust in England.
