We are looking for someone with experience of working in a high volume healthcare environment, experience of working in an Ophthalmic would be beneficial, but not necesary as training will be given. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is keen to take on a new challenge and develop this role within the existing team. You will be given full training along with competency based assessments for skill development. The successful applicant will be well supported by the nursing team and encouraged to develop the role to it’s full potential.
You will be working alongside a full multidisciplinary team. We are looking for nurses who have excellent communication skills and can demonstrate passion and empathy to this client group and who want to make a difference to quality of our patients lives.
The postholder will be responsible and accountable for the assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of nursing care. Work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and undertake delegated tasks form the Nurse Manager. Postholder will be required at times to take charge of department for a span of duty.
The postholder will always work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
