As well as the duties outlined above, you will be able to demonstrate accurate record keeping, the ability to prioritise your workload and to plan and evaluate patient care. You will support the learning and development needs of others, including student nurses.
The role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work across within our Living Well Centre. This is our day therapy provision that provides care and support to patients and those important to them on a sessional basis. You will also be supported to co-ordinate shifts and engage in MDT meetings. You will be encouraged to undertake continuous professional development and to bring your own ideas to improving outcomes for our patients.
The hospice benefits from the support of the Charitable Trust and you will be encouraged to access internal and external training opportunities that will help to develop your knowledge and skills including advance communication skills.
