Description:
Develop specialised nursing skills together with specialised technical knowledge and physical skills required for the effective holistic care of the critically ill cardiac patient. Develop the ability to anticipate, recognise and rapidly respond to the unpredictable problems/complications of the critically ill cardiac patient. Develop skills in the assessment and management of emergency cardiac admissions and acutely ill cardiac patients. Develop skills in recognition of life threatening and non-life threatening arrhythmias.
