Staff Nurse - VR Service

Develop an integrated role surrounding the management of vitreo-retinal ophthalmology patients and their families. Provide a thorough assessment of patients within the clinical setting , ensuring their ophthalmicneeds are met with holistic assessment. Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, internal and external ophthalmology, and vitreoretinal related focus groups. Promote high quality clinical care, and assist in the development of the specialist service,through the use of evidence based practice and clinical standards.
Develop new skills inresponse to emerging knowledge and techniques. Complete patient documentation correctly, appropriately and in a timely manner-utilising thenew paperless system and ensuring the rest of the team adopt new electronic systems tosupport the paperless agenda of the Trust
