Responsibilities:

As a Staff Packaging Engineer within our Packaging R&D team, you will play a crucial role in developing packaging solutions aligned with our regional and global segment strategies. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the superior consumer experience through packaging execution excellence, adherence to sustainability guidelines, and driving innovation in packaging technologies. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects with quality and compliance, while staying informed about industry trends and advancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop APAC Essential Health (EH) packaging in alignment with regional and global segment strategies.
  • Execute packaging projects using the Kenvue Packaging Development Process to ensure a Right First Time approach.
  • Specify primary and secondary packaging components with robustness, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Deliver projects with quality and compliance, compiling and analyzing data to generate reports.
  • Prioritize multiple rapidly changing priorities, ensuring flawless execution of critical programs.
  • Partner with Global Packaging teams to support platform development and supplier selection.
  • Collaborate with Global Packaging Sustainability team to embed sustainability guidelines into packaging specifications.
  • Lead new package development based on consumer insights, delivering targeted benefits and claims within cost targets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and champion technical advancements and design trends in packaging.
  • Stay aware of supplier and competitor developments, highlighting as needed to appropriate management.
