Homestead Co-op is hiring a Staff Pharmacist, on a full-time or part-time basis, for the Pharmacy in their Food Store in Carman, MB.

WHO YOU ARE:
You are looking for a career in Pharmacy and:
- Are licensed and registered with College of Pharmacists of Manitoba or are eligible for licensure.
- Have an Injection Certification or other advanced practice certificates, preferred.
- Are honest, trustworthy, results oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
- Can work in a team environment or independently, have strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the Pharmacy Department by ensuring all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely.
- Provide patient counselling and education on prescriptions and non-prescription medications, administer injections/immunizations and review patient profiles to identify drug related problems and monitor medication adherence.
- Complete adjudication and sale of prescriptions and other purchases using the pharmacy software and point of sale (POS) systems and supervise and train other dispensary staff as required to maintain efficient workflow within the dispensary.
- Support accurate pricing, ordering, and receiving procedures to minimize shrink and optimize sales and assist customers in locating merchandise on the sales floor.
- Comply with all Federal and Provincial legal requirements, Pharmacy Standards of Practice and with Homestead Co-ops policies and procedures.
