MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX, UI, or related roles with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a design team and mentoring junior designers.
  • Expertise in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD.
  • Deep understanding of usability principles, visual and interaction design, and user research methodologies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience with design systems and scaling design efforts within an organization.
  • Knowledge of automotive operations or prior work in the automotive industry.
  • Robust hands-on experience with diverse UX research methods.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a small team of product designers, setting clear goals and providing feedback and guidance to foster their professional growth.
  • Drive the product design strategy, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure compelling user experiences that align with company goals.
  • Design and iterate on user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, effectively communicating design concepts.
  • Conduct user research and usability studies to better understand our customers, using insights to guide the product design strategy.
  • Ensure the creation of inclusive and accessible products that achieve market fit and provide significant value to users.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate UX risks, maintaining high standards for design and user experience across multiple platforms
