LOCATION/DIVISION SPECIFIC INFORMATION
We are a research, development, and production site in Bremen currently, with about 500 employees, whose “high-end” measurement and analysis instruments (mass spectrometers) are used in research and science worldwide. Our innovative products in the fields of Life Sciences MS and Inorganic MS, as well as Trace Elemental Analysis, are among the leading products globally in their respective markets. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Scientist to join our dynamic Research & Development team in Bremen. As a Technical Lead for new product developments, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation and leading the development of new products within an existing platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and empower a diverse team of skilled technical professionals, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment to successfully execute the project.
- Cultivate a culture of high experimental quality and deep theoretical understanding across all aspects of product development, from research to serial production.
- Embrace and overcome complex or novel issues by leveraging creative, divers’ perspectives and developing solutions and execution strategies.
- Playing an important role in the product development process by creating and maintaining comprehensive and transparent documents.
- Utilize intellectual property (IP) principles, rules, and strategies to effectively protect novel inventions, and write patents, publications, and presentations.
- Effectively communicate development progress verbally and in writing ensuring clear and concise updates to superiors and higher management.
- Serve as a representative of the company by positive and productive interactions with external customers and collaborators
